ASSOCIATION “Dance Movement Therapy Bulgaria” is a legal entity with a non-profit purpose for carrying out activities for the public benefit (publicly beneficial activity). The association is a non-political and non-governmental organization, founded with the aim of developing dance movment therapy and therapeutic practices in Bulgaria.

The Association works for:

1.  Increasing public awareness, awareness, culture and awareness of the benefits of dance and movement practices on human health and well-being, promoting therapeutic dance and movement practices

2. Educational activity – creating, organizing and conducting seminars, courses, workshops and trainings in dance movement therapy

3. Research activity – research and study of the therapeutic/healing effects/results of dance and movement

4. Establishing dance and movement as a therapeutic practice in the country
