Mission

To continue to develop the Training Standards and Competencies that underpin the collaboration across European Association Members and achieve synthesis within the profession and ensure a strong professional identity.

To monitor and adjust the adopted Standards, Competencies, and Continuous Professional Development protocols and procedures, inviting discussion and feedback from the membership.

To encourage the facilitation of cross-border working in Europe with reference to the EADMT Professional Training Standards and Competencies.  

Membership of Training Standards Committee_2026

• Making direct contact with educational institutions to receive information regarding their DMT programmes and how they meet the EADMT Training Standards
• Undertaking a checking process that assesses how the programme meets the TS 2017
• Providing feedback to the institute and programme stating how they meet the TS, OR where further attention is required
• Ensuring good communication and collaboration, with the help of the National Association Delegate, with each institute
• Communicating the outcome of the TSC’s evaluation of a programme with the NA
• Referring a successful programme to the EADMT Board requesting the programme receive an EADMT Quality Mark.
