The Creative Arts Therapies Society, founded in 2008, is a professional community dedicated to promoting the growth, recognition, and ethical practice of creative arts therapies. We bring together practitioners and advocates of therapeutic approaches that integrate movement, music, art, drama, and other expressive modalities to support emotional, psychological, and social wellbeing.
Our society is committed to fostering professional development, raising public awareness, and strengthening collaboration within the field. We believe in the transformative power of the arts to create connection, healing, and meaningful change across diverse communities and settings.
Our mission includes:
- Supporting people inquiring into Arts Therapies.
- Supporting people referring themselves/others for Arts Therapies.
- Supporting agencies looking to offer Arts Therapies.
- Supporting people inquiring about Arts Therapies training.
- Encouraging Arts Therapies professionals and supporting them to register with PPBM.
